Mr Bao’s Peckham Weekender

You clearly haven’t been paying much attention if the recent renaissance of Peckham has passed you by, but the perfect opportunity to catch up has just come around. That’s because a smattering of SE15’s finest restaurants have joined forces, thanks to rallying by local fave Mr Bao, to celebrate the neighbourhood’s vibrant food scene. From local institutions to brand-new openings, the most enticing places to eat in the area have united to offer never-before-seen dishes for just £8. For each one bought, £1 will be donated to the Peckham Pantry, and there are some cracking dishes on offer: head to Peckham Cellars for scallops with spicy chorizo and cauliflower puree, Levan for French toast with mortadella and exmoor caviar, or Flygerians for burritos with jollof, chicken, beef or efo rino. There’s plenty more on the menu, too.
