Mermaids Uncovered

Paolo Viscardi from the Horniman Museum and Ross MacFarlane from the Wellcome Library give a talk about mermaids, touching on their origins and evolution in popular imagination and the fakery, misidentification and publicity that has shaped our understanding of these fishy fabrications.
