Sixty miniature gouaches of fashion garments and costumes, never before seen outside their home country of the Czech Republic, make their international debut here, offering a chance to see some fascinating examples of seventeenth-century fashion. They were used as inspiration for disguises worn at the popular masked balls of the age, and capture costumes from all over the world, including Asia.
