This seafaring shindig marks the opening of the National Maritime Museum’s nautical exhibition 'Turner and the Sea' and its new ‘Nelson, Navy, Nation’ gallery. Expect games, dance lessons and gallery tours. Open to all musicians and singers (take your own instrument along) is an opportunity to take part in ‘Floodtide’ by John Eacott for which data gathered by a sensor in the Thames at Trinity Buoy Wharf is turned into musical notation for musicians to play live. There’s even a rum-tasting session.
Entrance is free, but advance booking is required.
