Spend the evening enjoying cocktails at a rooftop bar, book a top-notch pre-theatre dinner at Lasdun or Forza Wine, indulge in Afternoon Tea with a view of Big Ben at County Hall or check out London's new Paddington Bear Experience.

If street food is more your thing, head to the huge Between the Bridges beer garden and courtyard, try Jimmy's BBQ Club by the river or browse the stalls at KERB's summer pop-up on the National Theatre terrace.

Culture vultures are spoiled for choice! Catch the latest in world cinema at the BFI, immerse yourself in contemporary art at the Hayward Gallery, watch award-winning theatre at the National Theatre and soak up world-class music, dance, poetry and performance at the Southbank Centre.
