Bookworms look lively! London’s Big Read kicks off on March 1 - the same day as World Book Day - and throughout the month the initiative is showcasing talented London authors. It’s put together a list of six shortlisted books, including June Sarpong’s ‘Diversify’, Paterson Joseph’s ‘Julius Caesar and Me’, Kevin Lueshing and Mike Dunn’s ‘Belt Boy’, Afua Hirsch’s ‘Brit(ish)’, Bianca Miller-Cole and Byron Cole’s ‘Self Made' and David Olusoga’s ‘Black and British’. Now, they’re asking you to vote for the one you think all Londoner’s should read - cast your vote here. For every book sold through London’s Big Read, £2 will be donated to their children’s charity partners.
Grab a chance to meet the authors of each shortlisted book as the LIBRARY members club opens up its doors for one month only, for a series of events, talks and book signings. Find a full programme of events here.
