The biggest festival of South Asian cinema in Europe, the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) is back with more transporting movies from across India and South Asia. There’s 20 premieres to get stuck into across six UK cities (the ‘L’ in LIFF is just part of it), with Nikhil Bhat’s batshit action flick ‘Kill’ – think ‘John Wick’ on the 9.15am to New Delhi – and tearjerker ‘Paper Flowers’ with Karan Soni (Dopinder from ‘Deadpool’) two ends of the cinematic spectrum on offer. The fest checks into London venues including Regent Street Cinema, Ciné Lumière, ICA, BFI Southbank and Rich Mix between June 26 and July 3. And for the first time, BFI IMAX will be hosting a LIFF screening: ‘Kill’ on July 3.
