Time Out says

The fifth instalment of this annual event sees 16 of the world’s best chess-players compete for a €50,000 first prize. The format of the competition gives each participant only 25 minutes thinking time per game – or, in the event of a draw, only 11 minutes thinking time for both players in a deciding game. Contenders include current World Champion Vishy Anand from India, former World Champion Vladimir Kramnik from Russia and former British World Title Challenger Nigel Short, as well as Britain’s top player Michael Adams and the world’s finest ever female player Judit Polgar. As well as the competition, there are a variety of other free kids’ activities, including coaching sessions from Grandmasters.
