New research studio and consultancy, Matter celebrate their launch with a five-day series of events exploring the relationship between materials, creativity, and the sensory world. The programme kicks off with 'Living in a Material World', an exhibition dedicated to the above topics which runs for the whole week at One Good Deed Today on Kingsland Road. Highlights during the rest of the week include a woodblock-printing workshop at the Booker Printhouse (Sept 24), a live performance from NTS Radio ( Sept 24) and an event hosted by Save the Date Cafe who will invite guests to test their palettes by identifying ingredients in dishes created using produce headed for landfill ( Sept 26). The majority of events are free but should be registered in advance here.
