The curators of Skip Gallery have gone rogue again an plonked their unorthodox art space - a big yellow skip - in between Chloe and Gucci in Oxford Street's Selfridges for a month-long programme of installations. The artists involved include Maja Djordjevic, whose skip sculpture features a giant ice cream topped with a gormless-looking nude (‘Nothing To Wear Again!’ Mar 4 - Mar 17), Paul Kindersley who is transforming the skip into a boat inspired by medieval mummers’ plays and Hieronymus Bosch’s 15th-century allegory ‘Ship of Fools’ (Mar 18 - 31) and Claire Pearce takes over the fitting rooms using monitors to project a changing sequence of colours and distorted films and gifs featuring Selfridges team members and mannequins into them (‘Infernal Desires’Mar 4 - 10). No jokes about rubbish art, now - they've heard it all before.
