Lexi Cinema Presents the Nomad

Travelling, pop-up cinema The Nomad presents a trio of screenings in Cutty Sark Gardens. Jul 8: 'Memento' (2000; cert: 15); Jul 9: Terry Gilliam's 'Time Bandits' (1981; cert: PG); Jul 10: 'Groundhog Day' (1993; cert: PG). There is usually pre-show entertainment themed to complement the evening's film: for 'Memento' you can get temporary body ink to reflect Guy Pearce's own memo writing in the film, plus popcorn in wacky flavours from Love Da Pop; Bill Murray's weather man is recalled by an appearance by Tomasz Schafernaker, who will be relating his experiences in front of the camera.
