This Saturday April 12 the streets of London are going to be filled with sweaty runners in hot pants and new trainers, head to the river instead to watch around a hundred sea kayakers paddling 26.2 miles for charity. As the front-runners of the London Marathon race by above the kayakers will begin their journey at Tower Bridge, paddling 13.1 miles upriver to Chiswick Bridge before heading back, passing the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and the Tower of London. Registration and a safety briefing for participants will take place from 9am, the event will begin at 12pm and finish at about 5pm.
