Jubilee!

Celebrating 60 years of the Queen's reign, this display looks at the evolving relationship between the monarch and the Army, both historically and in terms of the Queen's changing role from active service to ceremonial duties. Drawn from images and artefacts in the museum collection, the display also examines changes witnessed in terms of Empire and Commonwealth since the time of Queen Victoria – the only other British monarch to celebrate a diamond jubilee.
