Journeys of the Imagination: The Travel Posters of Artist and Illustrator John B

A display of around 20 travel posters by John Burningham, whose career as an illustrator and artist was kick-started by a poster commission for London Transport in 1960. On show are posters for London Transport and the British Transport Commission, along with 'Children's London', a design originally commissioned in 1968 but never completed at the time. Forty years later, Burningham has revived the poster, which is on show and available for sale in the museum shop.
