Jim Woodall: Olympic State

Time Out says

An installation featuring the hut in which, for two weeks in December 2010, artist Jim Woodall lived and work, watching the site of the 2012 Olympic Games from a rooftop vantage point. Exploring ideas of isolation and security, Woodall observed the site through a bank of CCTV monitors that lined the walls of his 'control room'. The hut is reinstalled in the gallery as a monument to his performance, while the recorded CCTV footage is relayed on the screens inside.
