Street food, beers, cocktails and urban boules? Not many places are serving up this kind of combo but trust us when we say it’s a lot of fun. Because it totally is. And sure, you know what street food and drinks are but if you need a steer on boules? It’s a traditional French take on our lawn bowls, where you lob a jack down a track of flattened stone and try to then get your ‘boule’ as close to that jack. Feel free to smash your opponent’s boule out the way, too.
As we say, it’s a lot of fun. You can book 55-minute sessions (which we suggest you do) but don’t sleep on the food and drinks. The food menu goes big on burgers, burritos, tacos and quesadillas (all good) but make sure you try out their croquettes, too (slow-cooked beef brisket with horseradish mustard mayo, and mac-and-cheese with hot sauce and parmesan).
Drinks feature classic cocktails (Aperol Spritz, Bellinis, Martinis) alongside a good selection of draughts (three from Siren, Guinness, and their own lager) and plenty by the bottle. Keep an eye out for some excellent tequila and mezcal, too.
