Islington Menorah Lighting

Celebrate the first night of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, at the Islington Menorah Lighting. Watch the Chanukiah, nine-branched Menorah specially created by Islington’s Jewish community, get lit up with live klezmer, traditional songs, chances to play dreidel, candle workshops, a football freestyler and shadow puppet performances from Little Angel Theatre. There'll also be hundreds of free latkes, doughnuts, Chanukah gelt and hot cocoa.
