A day of messing about on the water, with activities including the chance to hire a pedalo and go on a narrowboat trip, as well as lots for landlubbers to enjoy in the form of a barbecue, comedy show, music and games of Twister and foosball. Entry is free but there is a charge for pedalo hire (£5 for half an hour), and the narrow boat trip (£3, under-nines free). The club is based on the city road basin of the Regent's canal between Angel and Old Street stations. It provides British Canoe Union and Royal Yachting Association training courses, as well as an active youth programme and schools tuition for nine to 19 year olds with a extensive fleet of craft including kayaks, canoes, sailing boats, bell boats, power boats and a narrowboat.
