This evening of free, drop-in events covering Halloween-themed topics ranging from mad scientists to brain eating zombies takes a playful look at the science behind our fears. Activities include 'Can we die of fright?', a look at how hearts cope with stress, a chance to see how zombies, vampires and werewolves measure up in the world of infectious disease, and a chance to meet some of the robots made by the student robotics society. There are also two talks about the science of zombies by author Frank Swain. A pay bar should help things go with a swing.
