Imperial Fringe: Cities of the Future

A range of research projects from Imperial College aiming to improve city life are presented at this evening open to anyone interested in the future of the capital. The complexity, science and engineering that currently underpins the urban infrastructure will be explored, as well as the problems the city faces when they fail, and the technologies being developed to launch us into an era of 'intelligent cities'. An hour long debate will kick off the evening followed by a drinks reception and exhibition allowing guests to engage with the projects in more depth.
