London-based sustainable designers Something & Son unveil an aquaponics farm powered by a Hyundai fuel cell. Sounds cool, you say, but what does it mean? Aquaponics is a sustainable farming solution, a combination of hydroponics (growing plants in water) and aquaculture (raising fish in tanks). Hyundai's hydrogen-powered fuel cell, meanwhile, emits water vapour (as opposed to carbon). Put 'em together and you've got the Fuel Cell Farm, which condenses the fuel cell's water vapour to liquid, filters it into a fish tank, then uses the minerals from fish waste to grow vegetables.
