Did you spend lockdown filling your home with so many ferns that your living room now looks like a tiny Barbican Conservatory? Then you might be plant-crazed enough for a visit to the Houseplant Hideout. Plonked outside Boxpark Shoreditch, the Houseplant Hideout is a six-metre interactive vertical kaleidoscope from The Joy of Plants website. Visitors are invited to explore the ‘biophilic wonderland’ that lies inside. It’s apparently a space to disconnect, forest breathe, and hang out with lots of fancy plants. Pre-booked slots for the Hideout went extremely quickly (turns out a lot of people got into plants over lockdown), but they will be accepting walk-ins from 11am-12pm and 2pm-4:30pm each day.
