WHAT’S THE PRIZE?
Up to 3 nights overnight accommodation for 2 adults, including return British Airways flights in Euro Traveller (economy) from London to either Prague, Krakow, Cologne or Salzburg. The prize is subject to availability and valid for travel between 23 November – 23 December 2023. Travel must be completed by 23rd December 2023. Please note, Christmas Market start and end dates vary by destination, and it is the responsibility of the prize winner to research based on their preferred prize destination from the four outlined. Subject to travel restrictions. Extensions to the ‘valid for travel’ period are not permitted. Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. This prize is referred to as the Prize Package in these rules.
👉 There are a few additional conditions from the Prize Provider which apply to this Competition and Prize Package:
- For avoidance of doubt, the winner must be aged 18 or over. The winner’s guest must be aged 18 and over.
- All incidental expenses are the responsibility of the prize-winner. Once the holiday is booked, it is non-changeable, exchangeable or refundable. There is no cash alternative to the prize in whole or in part. If you miss your flight, or fail to take the outbound leg, your holiday will be void and cancelled. It is the responsibility of the winners to organise any necessary visas and passports required for travel. Winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary. All parts of the prize must be used in conjunction with the same booking. The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and the UK airport, any transfers to or from their overseas hotel, (outside what is previously declared in the holiday prize,) travel insurance, food and drink (outside what is previously declared in the board basis,) personal expenditure or incidental costs. Winner and their guest are solely responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documentation (including passport/visa/visa waiver as may be required), obtaining adequate travel insurance and appropriate vaccinations / inoculations (including covid-19 tests) for foreign travel at their own expense.
- The winner is responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in any Promotional materials or these Terms and Conditions, including (where applicable) transport, accommodation, meal costs, spending money, insurance and all other incidentals. Winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the prize. All travellers must have sufficient resources to meet any financial commitments, without limitation, which may incur in connection with the prize beyond those included in the prize itself. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that the prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither the Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prize.
- In the event that, for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control the Promoter is unable to award the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to award a prize of a similar nature and an equivalent value within the time that this prize can be redeemed. Travel restrictions may apply, please check Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advice before travelling.
- Euro Traveller (Economy) flights provided include a 23kg luggage allowance per passenger.
- The winner must book their prize within 7 days of receipt of the prize confirmation letter from British Airways Holidays.
- Gifts, prizes and other promotional items are not transferable, may not be re-sold and are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any such gift, prize or item with a gift, prize or item of equal value.
WHEN CAN I ENTER THE COMPETITION?
Start Date: 6:30pm on 2nd November 2023;
End Date: 10:30 pm on 2nd November 2023;
at the Hotboozapalooza event located at Vinegar Yard, SE1 3QX (the “Event”).
HOW DO I ENTER?
Step 1: Join Time Out at the Event and visit the “Spin to Win” wheel, adorned in red and gold. Give it a spin, and if the arrow aligns on a golden tab, you’ll quality to enter the competition.
Step 2: Give your first name and email address to the Time Out representative working at the wheel and you will have entered the competition.
👉 By completing these steps, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition rules.
WHO CAN ENTER?
The Competition is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except employees of Time Out and the Prize Provider, its agents, contractors and their family members. The winner must be aged 18 or over - you will not be eligible for the Prize Package if you are under 18. You can only enter once - multiple entries will not be accepted.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
After you enter the competition, you will be entered into a computer-generated ballot, from which a winner will be selected at random. The winner will be notified by Time Out by email within 24 hours of the End Date. If you are a winner, you agree to participate in publicity which may include having your photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.
OTHER RULES
- Time Out reserves the right to exclude any entry from the Competition at any time if it has a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the rules.
- All entries must be submitted by the original writer of the entry.
- All entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified.
- The winner will be notified by Time Out using the contact information submitted in the winner’s entry. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 72 hours of notification will be disqualified, in which case the winner forfeits their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected at random as an alternative winner.
- The Prize Package will be provided by the Prize Provider and is subject to their terms and conditions indicated at the top of these rules.
- The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value.
- Time Out accepts no responsibility if the Prize Provider refuses to issue the prize.
- The names of the winner may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR or by email to competitions@timeout.com. The request must be submitted within 1 calendar month after the End Date.
- By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.
- Any winners’ details shared by Time Out or the Prize Provider will be limited to first name and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.
- Copyright in all entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their entry. This includes sharing the entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.
- Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage however caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
- If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and/or the Prize Provider from complying with these rules, neither Time Out or the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
- This Competition and these rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- The Competition promoter is Time Out England Limited 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR and all references to Time Out means Time Out England Limited. Time Out has the right to license any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees.
