Holocaust Memorial Day at JW3

This day of screenings and performances marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Spanish pianist Maria Garzon will perform works by Jewish composer Viktor Ullmann, who was murdered in Auschwitz in 1944. Sort of Theatre present 'Buttons', the story of two friends' visit to Auschwitz told through spoken word, shadow puppetry and object manipulation. The JW3 cinema will screen three films on the theme of memory; 'Night Will Fall', 'The Act of Killing' and 'Weapons of the Spirit'. For event times and to book tickets visit the JW3 website.
