Sculptor Andrew Baldwin's new work is inspired by a recent journey to Iceland undertaken in a boat that converts into a bicycle, which he designed and built himself. A collection of kinetic sculptures represent hallucinations Baldwin experienced due to the lack of food, water and sleep and the emptiness of the seascape. Alongside the sculptures and photographic and video footage captured during the trip, illustrating the metamorphosis of boat into bicycle, is work by Hackney-raised artist Brian Bushell, whose recent paintings of waves and seascapes echo the solitude of Baldwin's journey. Members of the public are welcome to the private view on Thursday February 12 from 6pm till 10pm.
