Time Out says

Do you let out a sigh every time you see a list of ‘secret London spots’, because you know the ‘hidden gems’ will be full of tourists by midday? Well, London Transport Museum’s Hidden London tours are your chance to visit some truly under-the-radar locations, little-known and usually closed off to the average city-dweller.

These intimate tours led by experienced guides will take you into the nooks and crannies of London, giving you special access to disused stations and secret site usually closed to the public. From the disused Aldwych station, which saw the last tube carriage rattle through it in 1994, and a WWII civilian shelter buried beneath Clapham Common to the lost tunnels of Euston station - one of which hides a gallery of preserved vintage posters - and Down Street, a disused tube station where Winston Churchill hid out during the Blitz. For film buffs, there are secret film screenings in the London Transport Museum’s Cubic Theatre to compliment tours of forgotten stations where some of your favourite films are set, including ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Darkest Hour’.

Sign up to London Transport Museum’s e-newsletter by 23:59 on Wed Mar 6 to hear about advanced booking opportunities for these (and future) Hidden London tours.
