Harvest of the Sea Festival Service

Even though London's fish market moved from Billingsgate to Poplar years ago, St Mary-at-Hill continues to celebrate its ties to old Billingsgate in the form of the annual Harvest of the Sea Festival, which is closed with the Fish Harvest service. The traditional Billingsgate fish thanksgiving is one of the capital's more curious services that's attended by market traders and porters, but is also open to visitors and sightseers.
