Forget hanging out in a haunted house or wandering London’s cemeteries as night falls. This year, the Science Museum is holding a Halloween event that sounds ultra scary. A special spooky edition of the museum’s adults-only Lates programme will explore the science of phobias, how to survive a zombie outbreak, and put a spotlight on real-life monsters you can find out in nature. Light relief will be provided with a screening of ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ and more fearsome-themed talks. Plus, there’ll be a fancy dress contest and the usual Lates fun in the form of a silent disco, craft activities, and discounted tickets to the ‘Power Up’ exhibition, just in case things get a bit too horror-tastic for you.
