The Horniman always pulls it out the bag for the school holidays, so it’s no surprise that it’s got all sorts of Halloweeny fun planned for this October half-term, including this spooktastic activity day on October 31. Head down to check out a variety of free, drop-in sessions including a witch-themed tour of its World Gallery where you can learn about some of the ‘magical’ artefacts in the museum’s collections, bubbles and Halloween music on the bandstand and a spooky dance-off in Gallery Square, where there’ll be prizes for the best costumes. Anyone fancy going as an overstuffed taxidermy walrus?
