The Easter holidays feel like they ended yesterday, but that doesn’t mean another half term break isn’t right around the corner. But it’s alright – the Museum of London Docklands has, as usual, a packed itinerary of family-centred activities. Free drop-ins include ‘fashion with flares!’ where little ones can jazz up a pair of flares with jewels before a tailor sews them together, and ‘digital dress up’ where you can create your own clothes with an iPad. And there are ticketed events too – ‘materials in motion’ is an immersive reimagination of the Docklands’ history, and ‘the emperor of rock’ is a story-telling session with a Swinging Sixties seamstress (yes, the week’s activities are inspired by Fashion City, one of the museum’s exhibitions).
