Half Term Animation Workshop: Stop Frame Collage

Animator Elizabeth Hobbs leads this practical stop frame animation workshop using collage techniques. Throughout the day participants will learn the art of storyboarding and making their own animated videos. They will use drawing, coloured paper and photographs as collage materials, and digital cameras, laptops and mobile devices to record and edit. Participants will also look at collage work on show in the exhibition Taking Shots: The Photography of William S. Burroughs to inspire their own work. All materials are provided. Participants are also welcome to use their own photographs during the workshop. (Print or photocopy several copies onto paper and take them with you). The event is suitable for 14 to 18 year olds. Lunch will be provided.
