This Thames-side literary fest features two full days of talks, walks, political debate, poetry, drama, workshops and story-telling for bookworms of all ages. Authors in attendance include Dolly Alderton author of ‘Everything I Know About Love’, novelist and poet Blake Morrison and Nina Stibbe of ‘Love, Nina’. This year the festival extends beyond the Old Royal Naval College to the streets, riverbanks and buildings behind the books it showcases. Join Christopher Winn on a walk round Victorian Greenwich, Ted Sandling on a mudlarking expedition on the Thames shore and Alexandra Heminsley, Jenny Landreth, Joe Minihane and Libby Page at Charlton Lido celebrating swimming writing. See a full programme of events on the Greenwich Book Festival website.
