The London Transport roundel is a design triumph, although you see it so frequently you may not even register it. At this museum late event, there will be talks by David Lawrence, whose new book ‘A Logo for London’ explores the evolution of the London Transport roundel and its representations in fashion, pop music and the counter-culture, and from Geoff Marshall, who recently regained his Guinness World Record for visiting all the Tube stations in the least time. There will be live music, and you can take part in a Tube-themed quiz, make roundel-inspired and Christmas-themed arts and crafts, or just sample a new cocktail. And don’t forget to take in the temporary Poster Art 150 exhibition and museum’s permanent collection.
