Back in 1762, Benjamin Franklin presented his new musical invention called the glass armonica to the world. Tonight's talk will demonstrate the exciting sounds that can be produced by the rotating glass bowls and will chart the compositions made by Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and present day musicians, inspired by the instrument.
