The Geffrye Museum has teamed up with Funthyme Dining and Events for a one-off evening combining historic food and architecture, hosted by food historian and author Kate Colquhoun. Guests are invited to take a look through the museum's period rooms and explore how past generations would have dined before tucking in to a three-course meal with canapés in the restaurant. 16th and 17th century-inspired starters followed by an 18th century feasting style main course and dessert are on the menu, which celebrates the 300 year anniversary of the Geffrye almshouse buildings. BYOB to accompany the meal and book tickets in advance on 020 7749 6024 or through booking@geffrye-museum.org.uk.
