Don’t expect quiet in the library on Feb 11 and Feb 14, as two usually calm book repositories, (John Harvard Library and Canada Water Library) are transformed into a riot of colour, music and storytelling in celebration of the Year of the Dog. You’ll hear musical, interactive tales from London's seasoned storyteller Vanessa Woolf, plus a sprinkling of Mandarin from children's publisher Snowflake, whose books are full of ancient Chinese fairytales and legends. And even the shushiest of librarians won’t be able to silence those firecrackers.
