Festival of Furniture

This furniture festival will wrap London in a blanket of cosy Danish lifestyle ideas during four days this autumn. The focus is on 'hygge' (pronounced hoo-ga) which basically means creating a nice, warm atmosphere in the home and will encourage visitors to take note from the Danes and create environments radiating with warmth. Events are centred around Scandinavian design and up-cycling, with Helen Russell, author of 'The Year of Living Danishly' and designer Morten Georgsen making appearances. The likes of BoConcept, Heal's, Lombok and West Elm will be offering discounts and in store parties too.
