Festival of Culture

The former North London Mail Centre is becoming Islington Square, a new 500,000 square foot shopping, leisure and residential district. This free festival will take place on the site with a bulging bill of film, music, comedy and workshops. As well as plenty of local talent familiar names such as Richard Herring, Abandoman and Bjorn Again will perform, with Friday night focusing on comedy, Saturday on music and Sunday on theatre. There's also a pop-up cinema, gardening masterclasses, children's entertainment, light displays and a street food market. Everything apart from the food and drink is free.
