Speed-loving Londoners who weren't quite fast enough to bag themselves tickets for the British Grand Prix can still watch the action as it is broadcast live on big screens from Silverstone. F1 fans will be able to meet current and former drivers at autograph sessions, climb to the top of a winner's podium for a photo op and race against each other (and maybe some special pro guests) in 16 linked simulators. Those wanting to try the real thing can take a car for a few laps around the track; adrenalin junkies who don't want to take the wheel themselves, can take a spin in the passenger seat of a car driven by a F1 driver. There will also be a chance to experience other aspects of life in the fast lane with a competitive pit-stop challenge that invites visitors to race against each other, and the clock, to change the tyres on a car.
