Few places recreate the magic of Christmas as well as Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Every year it delivers festive fun for all the family, including rides, arts and crafts markets, an Ice Kingdom and tasty treats galore. And to add to this year's excitement, a Google Assistant pop-up can be found at the Big Wheel, so visitors can experience the helpful app IRL, while waiting to ride.

So what can you expect? First wander into a wintery forest for a prime selfie opportunity, where you can make it snow. Simply say: ‘Hey Google, make it snow’ and hey presto, the sky fills with fluffy white stuff. Then take full advantage of the experience by asking Google for a hot chocolate – and fear not plant-based peeps, you can request a vegan option and customise it, too.

If you've downloaded the Google Assistant app, then you can carry on using Google Assistant, which offers answers to life's big questions, like ‘Hey Google, what sound does a reindeer actually make?’. Oh, and if you're booked onto a VIP pod, then you can even change the colour of the Big Wheel as you get off. Swish.

Even better, you can keep the interactive entertainment going after you leave Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Google Assistant can connect to various smart devices, like speakers and headphones, so you won't have to search for your favourite festive tunes anymore – just ask Google.

The Google Assistant app is free to download on both iOS and Android, and requires internet connection to be used. Attractions at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland are available to prebook now.
