Time Out says

Since Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay first reached the summit of Mount Everest 60 years ago, thousands more explorers have taken to its rocky terrain. This exhibition of photos supplied by the Royal Geographical Society details the advances in climbing technology over the years, as well as the situations climbers have found themselves in – from the severe to the mundane. The images will be available in book form, with a foreword by travel writer Jan Morris.
