Esso™ Red Bull Soap Box Race- Competition Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

This competition is organized by Time Out England Limited, company number 01782049 with registered offices at 1st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR (“Time Out”) in association with  Esso Petroleum Company Limited, company number 0026538 with registered offices at Ermyn House, Ermyn Way, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 8UX (“Prize Provider”) (together the “Promoters”). We want you to answer the multiple-choice question correctly to be in with a chance of winning (the “Entry”). Submit your Entry by answering the multiple-choice question found at https://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/win-a-pair-of-tickets-to-the-esso-red-bull-soapbox-race-at-ally-pally-this-july between 18^th May 2022 at 6pm and 20^th June 2022 at 11:45pm for your chance to be selected to win one of four pairs of tickets for you and a guest to watch the Red Bull Soapbox Race on 3^rd July 2022 at Muswell Hill, Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY (the “Competition”).

HOW IT WORKS

Complete your Entry by answering the multiple-choice question found at https://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/win-a-pair-of-tickets-to-the-esso-red-bull-soapbox-race-at-ally-pally-this-july correctly. The correct answers will be entered into a random ballot from which the winners will be drawn. There will be 4 winners.

 GENERAL COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The Competition begins at 6pm on 18^th May 2022 (the “Start Date”). The Competition closes at 11:45pm on 20^th June 2022 (the “End Date”). 
2. The Competition is open to all residents of Scotland, England and Wales over the age of 18, except employees of Time Out, Prize Provider, Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Company Limited, its agents, contractors and their family members. 
3. Employees, contractors, officers and directors of competitor companies of either Time Out or Red Bull Racing and journalists may enter the Competition but are not eligible for prizes involving 4 pairs of general admission tickets for the Red Bull Soap Box Race on 3^rd July 2022.  
4. Multiple entries will not be accepted. 
5. By uploading your Entry, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition rules (the “Rules”). Time Out reserves the right to exclude any Entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules. 
6. Copyright in all Entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an Entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their Entry. This includes sharing the Entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material. 
7. The winners will be notified by Prize Provider by telephone or email within 5 days of the End Date.
8. The winners will be selected at random from a ballot which comprises all the correct answers. The prize package includes one pair of tickets for the winner and a guest to watch, not partake in, the Red Bull Soapbox Race in Muswell Hill (Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY on 3^rd July 2022 (the “Prize Package”). There will be 4 winners, and each winner will receive one pair of tickets.
9. The winner and the winner’s guest must be aged 18 or over.
10. By entering the Competition, entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so. Time Out and/or Prize Provider may require entrants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Competition and to receive the prize. Use of a false name, false address or other false information will result in disqualification.
11. All Entries must be submitted by the original writer of the Entry. 
12. The winner and the winner’s guest may be required to participate in publicity which may include having their photograph taken for promotional and press purposes.  
13. All Entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified. 
14. The Prize Package will be provided by Prize Provider. The Prize Package is subject to the terms and conditions of Redbull Company Limited, available at https://policies.redbull.com/policies/RedBull.com_GB/202205111555/en_GB/terms.html and the ticketing terms and conditions available at https://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/red-bull-ticketing-terms-and-conditions. 
15. The winner will be notified by Prize Provider within 5 days of the End Date using the contact information submitted when uploading their Entry. The winner may be asked to provide identification. Any winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 72 hours of notification will be disqualified, they thereby forfeit their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected as an alternative winner. 
16. The winner(s) details may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 1^st Floor, 172 Drury Lane, London WC2B 5QR or by email to competitions@timeout.com by 20^th July. Any winners details shared will be limited to surname and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. 
17. Selection of the winner is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
18. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. 
19. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
20. Prize Provider accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Prize Provider’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
21. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value. 
22. Time Out accepts no responsibility if the Prize Provider refuses to issue the prize.
23. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and/or the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and/or the Prize Provider from complying with the Rules, neither Time Out or the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control. 
24. This Competition and the Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 
25. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.
26. The Competition promoters are Time Out and the Prize Provider. Time Out shall have the right to license all and any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees.

SPECIFIC PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Accommodation is not included in the prize. 
2. Transportation to and from the Red Bull Soap Box Race in 2022 in Muswell Hill (Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London, N22 7AY) is not included in the prize. 
3. The Prize Package is to watch the Red Bull Soap Box Race, not to partake in it.
4. Any additional expenses incurred during the day are not included in the prize.
