New East London art-science 'cultural laboratory' Limewharf opens in Vyner Street, E2, with a festival of food, 'Eat the World', featuring The Modern Pantry’s Anna Hansen. Part salon, part feast, the event is designed to encourage guests to engage in debate and conversation while enjoying musical performances, commissioned events and digital installations. The line-up includes London Contemporary Orchestra (March 6-8), David Coulther playing the Jew's harp and musical saw (March 13-15) and cellist Gregor Rydell (March 20-22). Ticket prices on Wednesday and Thursday include dinner, drinks and entertainment. On Friday you can choose from three canapés and one drink (£15), six canapés and a drink (£30) and nine canapés and a drink (£45). Book via www.limewharf.org.
