Somerset House is putting on a wonderful series of free, virtual interactive workshops to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the world’s largest environmental event. Earth Day began as an environmental demonstration in the US in 1970, but this might be the first truly global edition, as all events will be taking place online. Somerset House have teamed up with sustainable fashion designer Bethany Williams, who will be offering a DIY workshop on how to make your own flag from recycled materials. There will also be a series of livestream panels on ethical design from Fashion Open Studio. If you never made it to the museums ‘Mushroom’ exhibit, you can always follow artist Seana Gavin’s guide to making a mindful mushroom collage. Find out more here.
