Dyeing with Plants: A Workshop on Natural Dyeing Techniques

Find out which of the fruits, leaves and barks which grow on London parks and gardens can be used as natural dyes for textiles on this one-day workshop with dye expert Susie Wareham. Participants will be welcomed with tea and coffee and an introduction to the techniques they'll be using before heading out on a foraging expedition through local green spaces. A dyeing session in the museum greenhouse will follow, then lunch will be served while the fabrics are being transformed. All materials and refreshments are included in the ticket price.
