Doc’n Roll Film Festival shines a spotlight on some of the movers and shakers who’ve lit up the music world with intriguing and eclectic sounds. This year, the programme covers a wealth of genres and scenes, and takes over the capital’s cinema staples like the Rio in Dalston, Brixton’s Ritzy, the BFI and more. Some screenings come accompanied by Q&As with the artists documented and/or filmmakers, or live performances. Look out for highlights including the international premiere of ‘Ol’ Dirty Bastard: A Tale Of Two Dirtys’ and screenings of ‘Pauline Black: A 2-Tone Story’, ‘Pretty Ugly: The Story Of Lunachicks’, ‘1-800-On-Her-Own: Ani DiFranco’, and many more.
