Following India's scrapping of Section 377 (the legislation that criminalised homosexuality), Dishoom and activist organisation Gaysians are throwing a well-deserved party to celebrate.
Expect inspirational talks from a range of speakers, DJ sets, performances from the British-Asian LGBT+ community, and delicious Bombay snacks.
All ticket proceeds will be split between Sappho for Equality, an organization based in Kolkata, India that is working for the rights of lesbians, bisexual women, and trans men in Eastern India, and SAATHII, an NGO working on HIV and AIDS-related issues in India.
