Diwali with Dishoom

Hyped Bombay restaurant chain Dishoom hosts this foodie Diwali festival bringing together South Asian talent from across the city for an evening of poetry, live music and feasting. Boogaloo Radio host Sweety Kapoor has curated a brilliant line-up of DJs including BBC Asian Network and Foundation FM regular Priya, British-Bengali electronic producer Surya Sen and sitar-playing composer Bishi, while Dishoom will be dishing up a host of celebratory classics including jackfruit biryani, mattar paneer and house chaat, with complimentary chai and mithai on offer to ticketholders. It all takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Wapping’s Studio Spaces, and judging by the queues outside their restaurants it’ll definitely sell out, so keep an eye on their Instagram for details of the next ticket release.
