The traditions and culture of Indonesia are showcased in this two-day event, which comes to the Southbank Centre as part of a UK-wide tour. There'll be fairytale puppetry, Islamic percussion, Javanese dance workshops, Sudanese music and plenty more. Free workshops, talks and performances can be found on the floor in The Clore Ballroom all day, and families should look out for the gamelan taster sessions. A pasar (market) will offer textiles, furnishings, clothing, jewellery and groceries from Indonesia and its diaspora. Most activities are free but tickets for performances may be booked in advance.
