This pretty-as-a-picture farm is part of The National Trust’s Morden Hall Park. Deen City Farm's lovely little shop sells second-hand children’s’ books, animal feed and bedding, plus locally sourced jams. The crew of about 150 animals includes a dope-looking monochrome alpaca called Kimby, who rolls with Hemby the ram and Guernsey goats Basil and Rosemary (#squadgoals). Keep an ear out for Edna the barn owl, apparently a real conversationalist.
The community-run gardens have all the usual veggies. While you’re exploring outside, make sure you check out the Cob Building with its roof made from recycled plastic bottles. There’s always loads happening at Deen City Farm, from pig feeding to cuddles with lambs, plus the busy riding school with twelve horses and ponies. Miriam Bouteba
